Tuesday afternoon around 4, State Police attempted to pull over a vehicle traveling north on I-87 in the town of Peru at 98 mph in a posted 65 mph zone. The vehicle failed to stop and continued on I-87, through a stop sign, and then north on State Route 22 into Plattsburgh, Beekmantown, Chazy and eventually into Altona, where it nearly hit a Clinton County Sheriff’s patrol car. Spike strips finally stopped it, and 20-year-old Roman Kintner, of Keeseville was taken into custody. A passenger… 20-year-old Camille Allen of Plattsburgh was detained when she was found in possession of marijuana. Just 2 days before that, Kintner and Allen were arrested after they were stopped on State Route 9N in the town of Ausable. Kintner was operating with a suspended license. They were both found in possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. And the day before, the two were also stopped twice… both times speeding and with drugs.
