WERE YOU AT THE CVS IN QUEENSBURY RECENTLY? IF SO, HEALTH CARE OFFICIALS WANT TO TALK TO YOU

The search is on now, for customers who may have visited the CVS on Main Street in Queensbury last week, after the pharmacist working there tested positive for coronavirus. Health care officials in Warren County say the risk of transmission is considered low, but to be safe, they want anyone who may have visited that store last Monday, March 2nd from 9am to 5pm or Wednesday, March 4th from 8am to 5pm… when the affected pharmacist was working, to watch for possible illness. There were about 400 customers who picked up prescriptions during that time period, and they are being contacted. There were no plans to ask any of them to be quarantined. The greater risk of transmission… according to the county health department… was to the pharmacist’s four co-workers, who have agreed to self-quarantine until March 18th. No one yet has shown any symptoms.
