CONSTABLE MAN HEADED BACK TO JAIL ON CONTEMPT CHARGE

50 year old Scott Rogers of Constable returned to Malone Town Court last Thursday, after his outburst of profanity aimed at the judge landed him in jail on Tuesday… but he didn’t apologize for it. Rogers denies all the charges he faces, claiming his land is being stolen. But the judge, who had to compete with Rogers just to be heard in his own courtroom, returned Rogers to the Franklin County Jail to complete the five day sentence that he handed Rogers on Tuesday for contempt of court. His case all began in the town of Constable, but it eventually found its way to Malone Town Court after all the previous justices recused themselves. Rogers is facing trespass violations and criminal tampering charges stemming from incidents that occured on Henry Road in Constable and involved his neighbors. He continues to claim that local officials are conspiring to steal his property.
