MORE JOBS ON THE WAY TO CORNWALL

More jobs are on the way to Cornwall… Loblaw has announced that it will be moving warehouse operations from Ottawa to Cornwall. The Shoppers Drug Mart distribution centre will be the new home of operations for the handling of non-perishable food items. It could mean nearly 800 jobs will be transferred to the Cornwall Industrial Park, which is also owned by Loblaw. The decision to choose Cornwall is believed to have come about, because of its location along Highway 401, and the fact that Cornwall had available space in the industrial park. Employees at the current distribution centre make between $20 and $30 an hour.
