BEEKMANTOWN MAN ON TRIAL IN CLINTON COUNTY – ACCUSED OF KILLING HIS GRANDMOTHER

The murder trial of a Beekmantown man accused of killing his own grandmother is getting underway in Clinton County Court. 25 year old Gustavo Segundo-Clark is charged in connection with the death of Ginger Clark, who was killed when she was stabbed by a kitchen knife. Segundo-Clark is also accused of stealing his grandmother’s 2010 Subaru Forester and credit card after killing her just before last Thanksgiving. In January, he was indicted on six felony counts. He is also facing two misdemeanor charges, including one charge of tampering with physical evidence… for washing the kitchen knife that he thought could be used as evidence. State Police arrested him on November 22nd last year just outside of Schenectady… that was the same day his grandmother’s body was found in Beekmantown. Segundo-Clark pleaded not guilty to all charges. Clinton County District Attorney Andrew Wylie, and the defense both say the trial may take up to three weeks.
