Flood watch posted for Franklin County, North Country

A flood watch has been posted for Franklin County and most of the North Country starting tomorrow morning through Saturday. With temps today and tomorrow in the 50s, and rain moving in, forecasters say the rapid snowmelt will run into the rivers and break up the ice. The National Weather Service says in some areas the river ice is about a foot thick, so if it breaks up, ice jams and the flooding they bring are a real concern.
