Malone Dairy Queen hosts fundraiser in honor of Las Vegas shooting victim

A Malone woman who was one of the hundreds injured during the mass shooting in Las Vegas is hosting a fundraiser tonight at the Dairy Queen on Route 11. Beverly King has been doing random acts of kindness to help her cope with what she witnessed that day. That’s why she’s hosting the Big Change Round Up for Kids event. It’s in honor of Sandy Casey, a special needs teacher originally from Vermont, who was one of the 58 people gunned down that day. The event runs from 5 until 7 tonight. Ten percent of all the proceeds will go to Big Change.
