Lisbon man wins major Queen of Hearts jackpot

A big win for a Lisbon man playing Queen of Hearts at the Moose Lodge in Ogdensburg. He won the jackpot worth $111,000. Jerry Lancto bought $10 worth of tickets and went home, so when he got the call later, he was thriled. Lancto says he may consider retiring from his job as a state corrections officer, where he’s been for the last 35 years. Lancto will receive 60% of the jackpot, with the rest going back to the lodge. Tickets had been selling at nearly $1,000 an hour on Tuesday with people from across the North Country snatching them up, hoping to win the largest jackpot in the Lodge’s history.
